- 2 medium eggs
- 1 cup milk of your choice
- 1 tbsp coconut oil/oil of your choice
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups of oats
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 pinch salt
2 cups of berries - fresh or frozen
1 cup oats
1/4 cup oat flour
1/2 cups (crushed) nuts of your choice
2 tbsp maple syrup
3 tbsp oil of your choice
1/4 tsp cinnamon
Preparation For The Berry Crumbled Baked Oats
Preheat oven to 180°C. Prepare a 8x8 pan with parchment paper ad set aside.
Prepare the baked oat layer: in a bowl combine the eggs, milk, oil, maple syrup, vanilla extract and mix well. Add the oats, spices baking power and salt. Stir until its fully combined and pour into the pan and spread evenly. Pour the berries evenly on top of your baked oat layer
Prepare your crumble topping by adding the oats, oat flour, crushed nuts, cinnamon, maple syrup and oil together with a fork in a bowl until it crumbles. spread the crumble on top of the berries evenly. Bake for 45 minutes or until the top of the oats are brown and the berries begin to bubble.
Remove your baked oats crumble from oven, let it cool down and cut into squares.
